For over 30 years I have learned and studied the game of chess in which I used my inspiration for this work.

 

 

 

Superchess is a product for the gaming industry mainly aimed at players with the aim of becoming an option within the entertainment centers Chess Clubs and given its characteristics in order to be included in such recreational activities and events Similar competitive chess.

Superchess History

The idea superchess comes from the frustration marked by poverty that many

people experience when trying to find an achievement against the biggest and

most powerful enemy the "lack of resources"

Superchess betrays its emergence in the midst of a major crisis in 1996 in the

city of Baracoa, Guantanamo, Cuba.

At that time, I was working as a chess instructor in the "José Raúl

Capablanca" Academy also I was preparing for chess competition and was

very interested in increasing my level of play, I had studied a big number of

books on almost any chess issues, it was a personal desire but came time I did

not have enough material to study.

One of those days when I left work occurred to visit a library with the idea of

finding a treaty of chess, as expected only thing I found was a book of

compositions very old quite bulky which I do not remember the author.

The first I refused because I thought I would delay invented solving problems

at the same time I was very curious and I had no choice I decided to borrow to

study at home, in the end it was chess theme.

Whenever I came home from work at night I was preparing to study in the

space that I called my lab. The study of the compositions was becoming more

interesting and spent a long time studying every night until I finished, the

study of the compositions had taken me more than thirty days and then I had

the idea of putting into practice the knowledge acquired so I gave myself the

task of making a composition and thus began placing white pieces and black

on the board until you can get a good result, I found it annoying to choose

between the group of pieces that needed and decided to form all parts on both

sides of the board, logically the outside, like the position initial on the board

which would be easier to choose.

The job was working and at one point thought - if played in this way would be

a superchess, , what I thought I liked and I wrote in my notebook it was very

late at night everyone slept and I was really tired, crossed my arms on the

table and rested my head until I fell asleep was when I started having a dream

of a man sitting at my desk inviting me to play chess and immediately were

playing when I suddenly realized I did not was correctly playing chess

because both were taking pieces formed outside the board and introducing in

it, when I tried to react to fix the situation I woke up, I looked at the chess

clock always had a habit set the time on the desk while studying or planned

classes and I realized I had slept me a few minutes and went to bed.

The next day I got up as usual for work, past few hours the dream is active in

my mind just when I planning a class, which devolved me of the activity that

was developed for the space of seconds and then stayed on my mind like a

concern that would not let me think of something else, I realized that perhaps

the game last night had been a mistake but the possibility of developing a

composition between two opponents, otherwise I thought it was simply

someone who knew nothing about chess and between them torn me to reach

any conclusions, other times trying to forget not to give importance to the

issue, did not need to worry about it, I was taking a long time but all in vain,

the dream was there. Again and again came to my mind, I suddenly

remembered what I had said earlier: "If played in this way would be a super

chess" not thought possible that it could develop a game with this system, I'll

have to find out, but how? there will be not another dream to ask the player.

I often wondered or thought if it was this or that and indeed then became very

curious to me, should decide to study this issue.

I had no idea how to start but the initial position of the pieces was initially and

it was time to say "I have it."

That night excited I gave myself the task of turning the dream into reality and

prepared my laboratory, the first thing I wrote was the initial position of the

pieces, without wasting time I structured, it was the basis for developing the

game, I must emphasize I had it made the position of the pieces outside the

board but only through sleep could see that it was possible to play that way

and started working.

As a curious thing while writing in my notebook I realized that the top on one

side appeared the name (super chess) that was already written and I smiled,

thought although the game was not defined had title, which indeed the goal

was to try to develop a set of composition involving two opponents.

As the days passed I was not smiling as far from achieving any results

disappoint me, more everything is complicated and often with deficiencies or

defects in the game system, my mind was very tired and weary my body I did

not want to continue the experiment but big willpower prevented me and I

continued working, I think I felt like a slave to my own mind, until I decided

to take a rest.

Almost a week later I reboot the job and found a variant that to put into

practice was a mistake result of despair, but I was close to achieving it, and

had a game with impairments and just needed adjust, calmed know that

although I had failed was winning, that reminded me of one of the treaties

studied chess "How win by losing".

I could not count the passing days but finally saw light at the end of the

tunnel, thanks to a nonsense that occurred to me to say, as - I must create a

magnetic field around the King because it could not stand the attack

uncovered and came the idea of reserved space, also adjust the lady not to

start the game on any square, but it begins starting from the original squares

(d1) white and (d8) black as in chess, next to the king

"Superchess" the game dreamed had come true. I do not know if they were

exactly those rules that are played in the dream but it was the only way I

found to play with the pieces outside the board and thanked, had released me,

my mind was clear.

Superchess has everything you would find in chess together or separated with

views concepts and ideas based on logical analysis obtained by studying a lot

of chess literature among others.

Through Superchess we sought to develop a more active and dynamic game

from the opening and defense provides an aggressive style of play which

makes possible a big difference in the end still difficult to engage, is

composed of a combination of composition, starting and problems that makes

it a unique design.
